Tamiya is known for its magnificent miniatures of automobiles. It is a company of high standard and it is very popular today for introducing to the world competitive mini 4WD racing. This will make sure that the Tamiya RC car will not be problematic if one tries to drift. The advantages of drift racing are many. During a normal turn, a car has the tendency to lose speed. 4. XBG Nitro Force: This car has enormous power and incredible speed. It is definitely one of the most powerful cars Tamiya has made. It has a chassis which is resin frame reinforced possessing a low centre of gravity and making it perfect for driving. The question as to why doughnuts have holes has been raised by dozens of bakers over the years, but most agree that the answer to this sticky question lies in the fact that the interior of these fried cakes would not cook fully without a hole in the center. In short, the consistency of a doughnut lacking a hole would be, quite simply, doughy.
Another riveting theory as to the origin of the bulls eye in the doughnut holds that a sea captain named Hanson Gregory, while manning his post one stormy night, found it impossible both to steer his vessel and to eat his fried cake. Out of sheer frustration, and probably out of hunger, he impaled his cake over one of the spokes of the ship’s wheel, thereby creating a finger hold with which to grip the cake. Quite pleased with his ingenuity, Mr. Gregory ordered the galley’s cook to fry the cakes in that manner henceforth.
Whatever the reason for the hole in the doughnut, this fried cake, with or without a hole, has been incorporated into the diets of people throughout the world for centuries. In fact, archaeologists found petrified fried cakes with holes amongst the artifacts of a primitive Indian tribe.
Many credit Dutch settlers to America with introducing the non-holed olykoeks, or “oily cakes,” to this continent, and with their subsequent popularity.
There is no disputing the fact that the fried cake became the rage in New York and in New England, and that before long, it became the specialty of coffee shops. Fried cakes came into their own in 1673, when a self-made New York marketing guru, Anna Joralemon, made their purchase at the market possible.
To this day, doughnuts, in any shape or form, remain married in our minds to coffee and police officers, and are here to stay.

Slingshot Wakeboards- Using Its Kiteboarding Experience To Enrich Wakeboarding
The wakeboarding industry is a highly specialized industry where any and every maker cannot enter in the hope of capturing the market. However, Slingshot is an exception to this norm as it has lots of experience in the world of kiteboarding. Slingshot wakeboards are made with poplar wood base which is combined with aerospace foam for maximum strength at minimum weight. The elliptical concave shape of the wakeboard enables the individual to move from edge to edge without any difficulty. The rails and the tips of the wakeboards are the weakest part of the boards, structurally speaking. The binder forms a very important component of the wakeboard. Owning a good quality wakeboard will be of no use if good quality binders are not attached to the same. The boot board connection in case of Slingshot wakeboards has been reinforced with a 4-hole configuration instead of the standard 2-hole configuration that is used in other wakeboard. This ensures that the binders too last for a long time.

Orange SPV is supporting Microsoft’s Windows Mobile platform for a long time. Well, for starters, the 10.8 x 5.8 x 1.8cm, 150g SPV M700 can now handle 3G connections, as well as the EDGE and GPRS capabilities it had before. That 3G support certainly helps with functions such as downloading email attachments and video clips, making it a bonus for business or pleasure. If that was all that had changed you’d be hearing some pretty stiff words from us, because as much as we loved the M600, there are plenty of improvements available with today’s technology.
The lens at the top-right of the screen makes use of one of these, adding video calling to the SPV’s repertoire. The lens obviously has to be on the front so you can see the other caller and they can see you. However, you can also choose which of the PDA’s cameras to send images from during the call, switching back and forth to show them your face or what the camera on the reverse can see.
The biggest change is still to come, though, and it makes the M700 one of the only devices you need to leave the house with. The M600 included Orange’s satnav technology but needed an additional Bluetooth device to pickup GPS satellite signals. The M700 brings that technology under its hood as is increasingly common in PDAs and smart phones.
Orange SPV M700 can take quite a while to connect to the GPS signal, especially if you’re in a large building or on a moving train. But once it has connected, regular updates of your position and the necessary maps download without any break in service. Audible instructions and a choice of top-down or 3D map functions make it usable whether you’re driving or walking. It’s just a shame there’s no holder to attach it to your car’s dashboard.
