| I purchased this mower last month,the owners manual shows items that are not anywhere near those what are packaged with the unit. I was able to deal with that. Every time you need to replace the cutting string you must turn the mower on its side,then when you start it back up it smokes like a mosquito fogger-this is not a "green" envioremental unit. The front bolts holding the red protective cover in place vibrated out and are now lost somewhere in the grass. This brings me to the only real problem with this mower.There is no united states support dealers-you must contact Great Britian to try to get any replacement parts. If I had known that there were no U.S. service reps. I never would have bought this. Do yourself a favor and buy american instead, Make sure that you will be able to get after sales support instead of contacting Europe to try and get some satisfaction. |

| This mower will only work if your grass does not need cutting. There is no clipping discharge, so if there is high grass in front and on both sides, all of the clippings are going to blow back into your face. It will take several passes over the same spot to cut tall grass. The air filter, when shipped was saturated with oil and needed to be replaced before the engine would run properly. When the engine is running...the blade is turning. They are directly tied together. There is a sticker on the mower deck that says it is for commercial use only and it is illegal to sell it as a residential mower. Amazon claims this is not true and that it is approved for residential use. Amazon will not let you return it! It is a very heavy, very expensive, very useless swing blade. Use a weed eater instead. |
